Employment Readiness

Through the Employment Readiness Programme young people will be able to visit and engage with a wide range of employers, further education colleges, universities and training providers in order to find out about the full range of opportunities that are available to them.

 

They will also have the opportunity to:

 

  • Develop their understanding of the importance of the employability related personal skills and qualities that employers value

  • Identify and be able to articulate the employability related personal skills and qualities they may already possess

  • Identify and develop those employability related personal skills and qualities they may need to further develop

  • Develop their self-esteem and confidence especially when talking to employers, colleges and training providers about themselves
